Default Movers - Melbourne

Can anyone recommend a furniture removal company in Melbourne? We have had quotes of $1500 to move our furniture from Glen Iris to Kew (not including packing) for a three bedroom townhouse :scared: - I will move it myself before I pay that kind of money

We are moving in two weeks time and I have booked movers for $1900 for a three bedroom townhouse, just to move five minutes down the road! This was the cheapest quote I got (got six in total) but it includes all packing and materials. It was with Greens Movers in Sandringham.

it cost us 6 hours to move a 3 bed house from Hawthorn to newport
Can;t remember their name but they were based in Essendon.

Well $ 1500 sounds reasonable , in Adelaide that would give you 12 hrs of service , so Melbourne MUST be busy these people have so much work they just give you a price take it or leave it. Another jobs the next phone call , in Adelaide i could work every weekend for the rest of my life, but Grace, keep me happy..................... mm

We had Kents deliver our stuff from the port and they were very good, so maybe give them a call.
