Movers Customs Declaration
Has anyone declared items which have been less that 12 months old but used to customs on their household goods?
How strict have they been in enforcing duty charges on these goods.?
Any info appreciated.

We did, eg newish printer/fax, clothes. Not charged anything.

We bought a dyson and a microwave just before the shippers came. They went in the container unopened. They were noted on the inventory, nothing said, or charged. They are only interested in say 20 new microwaves - they would assume you are going to sell them. The odd one or two things will not interest them.
