Default Mover: Using Container

Hello,

Does anyone have any experience in hiring mover to move a container (16') full of household things?

What is the procedure when the container arrives in Australian Port? Does the custom officer dismantle all furniture, drawers, boxes, etc to check the contents? X-Ray? Or it is just as easy as declaring the container contents and the custom officer does the random check?

How about CD-ROMs, I mean those MP3 songs burned onto a CD-ROM? How about software, do you need to show prove of purchase? How about software installed in the PC?

It seems impossible to me if the container goes through without some checking. Somebody could smuggle something it were not checked.

TIA
