just trying to remember. I'm sure I just googled 'skin cancer' and it came up on one of the 'self help' bits. Will do a search for you X

In December, a 27 year old women died near my home on the A1 together with her baby boys - 6 months and 2. Their close family has been shattered and the Dad had to be heavily sedated before the funeral. That was a beautiful frosty morning - the lorry that killed them locked up on ice.
each to their own, I happen to like the frosty mornings where I live and trust me RTA's happen in aus too! The road gets slippery there cos of the heat (hence lower speeds)!

Our motivation: to try out another country. We've lived in the UK 6yrs but come from South Africa so we miss the outdoors life.

I want to see my little boys learn to surf & waterski. I want to see them swimming in a pool in our garden.

I think we all suffer a little from S.A.D. in the winter. And my littlest one has constant chest infections in the winter. I've heard that a lot chidrens' health improves in Australia.

Life is a journey....................

I'm agreeing with you, and emphasing its not a competition. You just have to manage it that's all. You need protection for the activity you're doing, whether it is UK or Australia.

At least when the weather is cold you can put on more clothes, consume warm drinks and still get out and about. On days of extreme heat, you can only remove so many clothes, I find myself totally sapped of any energy and have difficulty sleeping.
Well said!

When it's cold, you can always put more on; when it's hot, there's a limit to the amount you can take off!

Don't even get me started on the humidity...
