Mould in Dishwasher
Have just unpacked the dishwasher from the big move. And it has a little mould inside it.
Has anyone had this, and if so how do you get rid of it? Once clean is it then okay to use? |

Seriously, put it through a cycle with nothing in it, add half a cup of bleach. it will be just fine. :) A tip for future shippers: Fridges, washing machines, dishwashers etc, put a few tea bags inside to prevent this and possible smells. |
Re: Mould in Dishwasher
I use mine as infrequently as possible and it grows mould in a couple of days here anyway, so I wouldn't worry too much.
Cockroaches living in it, that's another matter :( (that was at the rental, not our own place) |
Re: Mould in Dishwasher
I remember something about using vinegar. Perhaps this site might help http://www.cheap-and-easy-recipes.co...dishwasher.htm (and I'm sure there's dozens of others).

Re: Mould in Dishwasher
Bung it through a hot/long cycle with a cup of vinegar (or one of those expensive cleaners you can buy if your loaded) and she'll be good
