My wife and I will be coming to NZ in early October for 6 months to see if we like it before looking at coming over full-time. I will be shipping over my Harley-Davidson as a temperary import (much cheaper than renting one) so we have some transport.

Has anyone done this before and can give me some idea of how to go about arranging insurance. Unfortunately my UK insurance will only cover me in Europe and I've not been successful in convincing them that NZ should be included ;-)
