Can anyone tell me what the motor mechanics industry is like there in QLD and an average salary for a senior mechanic.

The pay seems to be very poor, Ive got jobs lined up and have asked about pay and they all are arond $20 per hour! About half what Im getting in the UK as a VW master Tech!! Bummer! Plus you are working less hours, so less pay again. Hope this helps, Pete.

Dont know it is just a thought at the moment as we are in WA and there are not enough renaults to work on this side and hubby wants to stay with renault as he is a co tech with 20 yrs experience
