Lottery tickets - Don't start.
We have always had the same numbers - which you don't forget. So when we move it would be just our luck for them to come up!!!
The worst part is that the mother -in- law knows the numbers and we would never live it down.
Never again would I start to play that again.
They are having most of our furniture and the goldfish, they even asked about the dog !!
Spooky!!

Thanks you have all made me feel so much better about the house selling process!!
I am dreading it already before we even put it on the market.
It will be much worse than getting the visa, that was the easy bit for us!
Only about 4 more weeks of 'House Doctoring' to go .. ho hum!

I would agree that selling the house is the harder out of the two as you are limited to what you can do. When waiting for the visa life still carries on as normal but waiting for a buyer is far more restricting ... can't book anything ... on tender hooks waiting to get going ......

My point is at least you know how long it takes to get a visa but some houses are just not selling - there is a mass of uncertainty out there
We all just need to be positive and patient :lecture: :lecture:
