Default Most positive house viewing yet!!

I know there have been soooo many threads about this one, but waiting to sell your house with a visa burning a hole through your passport is so frustrating!! As i'm sure you all know!!

Our house has been on the market for 3 months and we've booked a flight in September to validate the visa as there's no way now we'd reach Perth before it expires!!!

We've just had a viewing tonight and i have to say i'm very optimistic about this one!! The couple came round and they loved the house and the street we live on, so fingers crossed!!
They've tried to purchase three other houses in the area since Feb but each sale has fallen through due to someone else further along the chain!!
They've sold they're house and are living in rented accomodation so they're dying to have their own place - sick of paying someone else's mortagage!!!

So wish me luck, we're crossing everything, waiting for the call!!!
Not that i'm counting my chickens....???

Where's that drink!!!

Very good luck, sounds promising.
We lost our private buyer last week, house in now going on the market tomorrow, not looking forward to it, I can't stand estate agents, and houses in our area don't seem to be moving that well

Thumbs down Re: Most positive house viewing yet!!

Thanks for your all your support guys.... Unfortunatley we spoke with the state agents yesterday and it seems that the house wasn't for them. i think it was out of the budget to be honest!!

Just when you think that the viewing went so well, it's amazing how wrong you can be!! They always say that you can never tell, but they must be a pair of damn good actors!!!

Nevermind.... Monday was the last day out of the 14 days notice we gave to our estate agents so now we're trying with another agent that actually advertises!!! Woo Hoo!! So we start the game of selling once again.... it's becoming so easy to get down hearted, the market is so poor at the moment!!!

Thanks again, i'll keep you all updated.... This froum is great to go through the highs and lows of house selling - Infact, we should start up a HATE forum for estate agents!! (hope i haven't offended anyone!!!)
