Default The Morton-Jones Family Update

Hi guys.

It has been a while since we last posted on here so i wont make it too long and boring for you.

Anyway, we have been here now for over three months and how quick it has flown by. I am working as an Engineering Manager for a local firm here on the Gold Coast and Trish is enjoying being a lady of leisure. Callum, Georgia and Tia are all enjoying there new schools and are making lots of friends.

We have bought 2.5 acres of land up at Wongawallan and building work commences today on our new house which is being built by Clarendons - The Edgewater 41- so fingers crossed we hope to move in just after Xmas

Every weekend we are all out doing something, weather it is a trip to the beach, into the Hinterland or just having fun. Live here is just for the living and thats what we intend to do. Quality of life here is just fantastic and we have so much free time to do things, not only at the weekends but in the week as well.

Our new life in Australia is much more than we expected and have had no regrets.

I could go on writing for ever but the only way you will get to know how good it is out here is to come over and join us.

Catch you all later!

Rob, Trish, Callum, Georgia & tia

Wongawallen? bit of change from Potton It's lovely up there, hope you're in the house and settled properly as soon as. There's a major session booked at Pacific Pines Tavern in early August - kids as well until 10pm if you're interested.

Great news Rob. I remember how, like all of us, you were stressing about the visa and then the move. Really good to hear it is working for you

So glad to hear life down under is treating you well. Had a peek at the house - WOW, it's gorgeous. Looking forward to hearing all about the build.
