Hiya,
Can i ask, do you get about 3 times your annual wage when mortgage advisors are evaluating what they are prepared to give you when considering buying a house?
In the uk, i think it's about 3.5 times the annual income.

Lynn, it seems that they actually look at your circumstances and offer you what you can afford to repay, rather than using the one-size-fits-all that we get here. Have a look at the calculators here
