hi,does anybody know how you go on getting a mortgage when you get over,would you get 1 over in england for a house in oz or???

You apply to an Australian bank for an Australian mortgage

Normaly you would rent for a while, then when you have a job you would apply to an Australian bank/lender for a mortage.

Not sure you would be able to get a mortage in the UK for a house in OZ and even if you did it would be risky due to the exchange rates changing every day.
