Default More good news on the Dollar?

Oh happy days , more pounds coming my way in exchange for rubber dollars?

AUSTRALIAN exporters suffering under the increasing strength of the Australian dollar will just have to learn to live with it, Prime Minister John Howard has said.

Mr Howard told WestBusiness that big exporters, including WA's mining sector, had seen good times under a low Australian dollar for some time. They now had to accept things had shifted.

"Look, you have a floating exchange rate, there are always pluses and minuses," Mr Howard said. "If you're an importer, the higher dollar helps you."

careful there PB...maybe you should wait until August when you see what the exchange rate is then before you start gloating
(think it will keep on working out good from your point of view though)

Calm down old boy. Learn a lesson from the Immos, counting your chickens before they hatch can be fatal. (Mind you its bloody tempting isn't it!)

To be honest the money side no long means that much ,always been able to buy a pint and put food on the table,.
Saying that a pints not getting any cheaper and every penny is most welcome.

Oh PB, you naught boy, haven`t I already told you not to tempt fate...

With my luck, just as we`re about to go back the AUS $ will do one of it`s bouncing tricks (the wrong way) and the UK housing market will decide there`s still room for another 20% on top of the prices...
