hi there,how many of you have made the move and become more
active due to outdoor lifestyle,ie cycling,walking or taking up new
hobbies,coming from scotland i'm indoors more often than not
due to rain and dark nights and i'm hoping to get out and about
when i get to oz and make the most of it.

Whenever I visit Oz, I particularly like to try out the many open-air swimming pools: these are almost invariably 50m Olympic size, and quite inexpensive. My favourite so far is the North Sydney pool at Milson's Point: it has a sublime setting with views over the Bridge and Harbour, and is great for getting a sun-tan - wonderful! Since moving to sunny downtown BrisVegas, been cycling a lot, and started swimming in the mornings (not at the moment though.. still a bit cold)
