More ACS and visa questions

Thanks to those who replied to my last questions. I have a few more I need help with:

1. When looking at the points test for the Skilled Independent visa, I get 120 points. I am about to send in my ACS assessment, and am wondering if I should ignore the MODL bit. Will the 5 points help once the application goes in, or is anything over 110 guaranteed?

2. Are they still fast-tracking IT visas? I can't find anything after January 2001 about it. If so, what is the average processing time? (Everything on the Timeline site
http://www.webappcabaret.com/austime/aus/opener.jsp
seems to be too new.)

3. Is there a quota per nationality? I am South African, living in London now, but I will be back in South Africa before I lodge my visa application.

Thanks for your help.

Re: More ACS and visa questions

1. No, but it does make any difference anthing over 110 is acceptable. But if your
skills are on the MODL I would not Ignore it could that you get picked up by an
employer in the skill matching (if you choose toapply for that as well) . and that
may speed up the application.

2. Fast tracking is still happenning. But don't excpect less than 3-5 months.

3. No there is no country quotas. but there is a Yearly quota for the visa category.
