moneysaving expert - could this site be the oz equivilent??

Default moneysaving expert - could this site be the oz equivilent??

I swear by moneysaving expert, travel supermarket and the likes and i have saved sooo much money using these sites for info and buying things.

Will i have it this easy in oz when we move? and could the link below be the equivilent to MSE in the uk.

It costs $47 to subscribe and is only about how to live as if there's a war on. I mean- putting left-over bars of soap in the blender FFS!
I agree Oz needs a proper MSE equivalent.

maybe we are the ppl to start the ball rolling

also would nt mind finding a better equivelent to hotukdeals too - i lived my life on there lol

You might have something there, beaumonts!
The stumbling block is probably that Oz shops don't put prices online very often.

I've found this site to have some really good deals on it ....

Usually about 10 new things added per day ... it's community based ... deals are voted on by the masses.

I know have repeated and said how I hate shopping here - I even miss argos (thats saying something lol) - just have to rely on the tens of tonnes of leaflets we get in our postbox everyday - and gets some scouts on the streets bargain hunting

What a great idea, why not research it and start something up - think of Martin from MSE and how famous and probably well off he is!

Oz needs an MSE!

Thanks for the link- I have bookmarked it!
The Eee PC with XP looks great- you had to tempt me didn't you!
(I need a computer that has both XP and an internet connection to get my satnav up and running again after I wiped UK maps off in preparation for loading Australian ones! Laptop runs vista and is a steaming pile of ****).

Has a postgraduate degree in broadcast journalism

and is a bestselling author

I never knew that! Well i guess that does help i guess. still there must be a way. Am sure it will happen some day - the right person will see a gap in the market someday.

Hopefully. Australia needs better websites/online shopping etc. Sick of all those 'virtual' catalogues on the websites where you have to turn the pages yourself

Don't know of any shopping tips websites, though.....
