Monash or RMIT or Uni Melb
Hi folks,
Just selecting a Uniersity in Melbourne to pursue IT degree (master and Phd - Telecommunication). We had an old talk with JAJ and other friends over here but wish to know if there is any final advice,update or personal experience to make a final decision.

Hi,
I'm biased with RMIT, but I did a science degree. Consider where you are going to be living. If you are going to be at Monash Clayton campus, you will have a hell of a commute (probably 1 hour either way, if you are driving) but you will be by Chadstone shopping centre which is the biggest in Melbourne.
Melbourne Uni has a great reputation as well and it would be close to home and it's a lovely campus and it would put you closer to Vic Markets.
I can't say what the reputation of the courses are but I hope this has helped some.

All three have excellent technology reputations.
FYI, collectively, the unis in Victoria are installing their own dark-fibre network between sites.
