Mon 29th Nov -Perth Expats mums meet
Hi guys
Having spoken /pm'ed a few ladies about meeting up with babies/ toddlers/ young children, we've decided to settle for a regular Monday morning meet.
The first meet will be from 10.30 -12 on Monday 29th November, at Dinosaur Jim's in Joondalup. It's near WA Salvage.
The address is:
96 Winton Road, Joondalup.
Tel 93011773
The prices are as follows:
$5.50 for children aged 4 and under,
$7 for children aged 5 and up.
This is for unlimited play, indoor and outdoor. There's a place to buy drinks and shade sails outside. You could always stay for longer if you want, as it's open until 5.00pm.
We'll meet in the outside area near the trampoline. I'll make up a sign and put it up on a table, reading "Expats Mums" in red.

hope all goes well at your perth mums meet.......not only are my 2 boys a bit old...but I will be at work!!!, otherwise I might have popped along for a coffee. What about Lisa????

Lisa is coming... she checked out Dinosaur Jim's for us and helped with the arrangements. Should be fun!
PS When Hayleigh comes we should have an ex-Pompey girl's night out!

We are landing in Perth on the 6th December so miss you by a week !!
I have a little girl of just 12months (and a big boy of 8yrs) and would love to meet up with you all and get to know a few people, so if you do anything after our arrival date let me know or i'll watch for posts.

Dinosaur Jim's was excellent - there is lots to do if anyone is interested in going. For older kids there is a minigolf and for smaller kids there are ball pits, slides and a little play village outside. The coffee was good too, so I don't mind giving them a plug!
Unfortunately a couple of the mum's kids were ill, so I was a bit worried no-one would turn up (as it was the first meet) and dragged hubby out with me. (Hope the kiddies get well soon!) However I met FalcoThorn from Expats and we had a good natter.
If anyone is interested in another meet, let me know and we could arrange something in the holidays, or when Newbies arrive.
