Molendinar
Hi all
Just wanted to know if anyone is living in or near to Molendinar on the Gold Coast as we move into our house there on Tuesday, It seems an Ok area but wanted anyone's thoughts if they are near or actually live there. Cheers Darren |

Ah Molendinar............
Pronounced Mole - in - diner or Moll - in - dinner or Moll - in - dinnar, all depends where you come from........ Has a light industrial estate at one end and a discreet...........brothel (15 Jade Drive.........or so I'm told). Also has a private school at the far end (as I know it). Nice residential area to the other side. Nothing much really to say about it, a mixture of residences and light industry, busy roads during the week, quieter at the weekend. Easy access to Smith Street motorway and ergo the Pacific motorway and Southport/coastal areas. Nice shopping precinct in Ashmore just down the road one way and the other way a small collection of Factory Outlet shops, I don't think there are any shopping areas in Molindinar itself. They also advertise their 'services' in the local papers.
I used to work in Jade Drive about 10 numbers away. The place is open 24/7 and at Christmas time some of the 'ladies' came to our work place offering a Christmas discount for the employees............ Being the nosey bugger that I am I always looked into the car park at 07.30 hrs to see the amount of cars there. Seems that early - mid-week was their busiest time for sleepovers. Sorrento is a nice place. NG |
