Must admit that it i ever have had an immigration question , i prefer to post it on this forum because you tend to get a reply even if it's sorry i can't help you but good luck - it's just good to know someones listening rather than just being all business like !
Which brings me to my moan which is
" 17 yr old son just joined us in NZ after 2 yrs in the UK with his Dad - sent off application as dependant child thinking it would be all quick and straight forward, but after 2 months of nothing have just got a letter saying no case officer will be allocated for 4 months and it could be 12 months before it's looked at - Meanwhile poor old son isn't allowed to get a part time job in his spare time ( ouch for our wallets ! ) and can't study for more than 3 months on his 9 month visitor visa "
