Moderators
Just looking at the list of threads on here I notice that, everyones favourite moderator, Bondipom, has deleted a thread.
It makes me wonder about the role of the Moderator on this site.
How do they become moderators?
Do they do anything else other than sit at the computers on the BE site (like most of us!!)?
Is it a full time position, if so is it on the MODL?
Do the Mods still drive Lamberettas?
I would imagine it would be a dream job for some people on this site, those who probably spend more time, and post more than the mods themselves.
Any answers or further comments on the Mods would be great.

Well, on other fora, moderators tend to ignore a shedload of objectionable and off-topic material and then start deleting posts just because some up-tight hysterically reactionary posters complain that a bit of colour is being injected.
Good job it doesn't happen here. They are a fine bunch of upstanding citizens keeping the peace with no reward and very little positive feedback.

I think this member(fnarr,fnarr) should be deported immediately to one of Her Majesties colonies (perhaps Australia !) where upon said individual should be given the time to contemplate their views

Not if I remember correctly. Since we joined, JAJ has always been a moderator, then wmoore became a moderator, and recently (maybe the last 6 months or so) Bondipom became a moderator.
So the sleeping with JAJ theory still works.
