Moderator censorship
Do the moderators have to read every post before it is displayed?

Re: Moderator censorship
No we don't.
Why are you planning something cheeky in the hope that one of us might miss it?
We do read them all though and they can be deleted.

Then there was something in it like an email address or a weblink or something that needed verifying first. It's to stop new posters spamming the forum etc.

And I would hardly call it censorship. It's a filter to help cut down on the amount of spam that would otherwise clog the forum.

Re: Moderator censorship
I got a message back that it would not be displayed until read by a moderator - so I wondered why. My starting this post came straight online.

I've gone in and approved the post. It was sitting in the moderator's queue because you quoted a post which had a link in it. So, your post would have a link. It's also a matter of a moderator having time to get online and check the queue before things get posted.
