Question Mobiles in Australia

What mobile networks are supported in australia.

Will my GSM mobile i used in pakistan will work in oz as well.

By the way, what is cost of sim

If your phone is unlocked, it will work with any provider.

If not, the main providers hyere are:
Telstra, Virgin, Vodaphone, three, optus, dodo.

sim cards are free for pre paid or contract. You can buy a prepaid phone for about $50 anywhere now and some even include credit as well.

shop around before you jump in too quickly, there are always deals to be had somewhere.

I recommend Vodafone/Three if you're going to be predominately in major urban areas. If your phone is locked to a network you can usually find out how to unlock using Google.
