Mobile Telco and ISP in Australia
Hi all,
I have a few questions to ask regarding the telco and ISP in Australia.
From what I know, Australia main telco and ISP are telstra and optus. Is there any other telco's company providing phone and internet services?
1. By comparing the two main companies, telstra and optus, which one is better and more reliable?
2. Which company provides the cheapest and most economy rate?
3. What's the typical rate/charges for dialup internet access in Australia? Is it more worth it to got for DSL line or broad band?
4. During my visit to WA last year, there's a promotion by 'Yes' Optus where users from the same company can call each other for free of charge from 8pm till 12 midnite. I'm not really sure about the time. Is is still valid at the moment? Is it for prepaid users or for postpaid users?

Have a look at someone like www.swiftdsl.com.au . They do phone and internet bundles. Telstra are to be avoided at all costs due to poor expensive service.
