Mobile Phone Question?
 

Hi All,
I am hoping you can help me with this? We recently bought a sony t300, Tesco were flogging them off cheap! we are aware that we will need a new sim in Oz, but will we have to have the phone unlocked befre we go. It is currently on a pay as you go, any advice on this matter would be gratefully reieved!

we poppeed into orange and asked the same question they suggested going to some where like the phonezone (not sure if spelt right?) and unlocking it for about £15

First you need to find out if its locked. If you get a sim card from another network bung it in your phone and it works you are OK.

If not you will need to unlock it, loads of places will do it. If you have a market nearby someone is bound to do it there. Which reminds me, must get mine done. :D
