Mobile phone provider NSW

Hey can anyone recommend one of the many mobile phone providers? I'm in Sydney at the moment but will be in Tamworth soon. I was with Vodafone back in the UK but i've heard the signal isn't very good with them in more rural areas. I'll be using an iPhone so good 3G would help. Thanks

If you can tolerate their prices, Telstra is always best for more rural locations.

Main gotcha is they don't include international calls or SMS in cap plans like every other network does.

Try Optus or Virgin (they use the same towers) - not quite such good coverage as Helstra but more economical
