Mitre Bond/Mitre Mate
I am having difficulty finding this in australia anyone know were I can get it in australia I have tried most timber and tool supply placeslike bunning and mitre 10

nah Geelong.
Mitrebond is a two part adhesive for bonding joints, ie cornice, etc in cabinetry.
Im not sure where, but theres a huge woodworking place called Macgregors, in Brisbane.

Neither are sold here, but the equivilant would be either Fuller's Maxbond, Maxbond Fastgrip, Construction Adhesive, or Selleys Liquid Nails. These are available at all hardware stores. Available either in cartridge, squeeze tubes or PVA bottles.

I threw mine out just a few weeks ago all set in the bottle, I still have 2 or 3 bottles of activator though if you know anyone that wants some. We used to use loads of it installing UPVC windows.

I remember fitting out a kitchen, and connecting all cornice trim work, and gluing with MitreBond... was about 17ft long, with all 90 degree turns etc etc..
Lifted up into place, whacked a cpl of drywalls thru carcase into em, sweet !
well black japaned bugles ( the ones wickes used to sell )

just called the site they, said they are no longer selling mitre fix as they were going hard in the bottles to quick bugger!
