i am already sick of having to put 3 layers of clothes on to even feel warm!
I was so cold last night, we had the heating full on & I was wrapped up in a blanket watching CSI!!!!!!

Right with you possums. There's much to be said for hibernation. Washed my car today, bad idea. Blue hands, Blue nose and strange looks from the neighbours (nothing new there )

Lordy! Sounds expensive. I had a happy chap recently come to fix the mess I made in the airing cupboard whilst trying to change the motorised valve. He told me that the cylinder we have that holds all the hot water usually lasts 10 years before springing leaks. the house is 15 years old so I'm on borrowed time. really looking forward to that. Jesus, I'm really starting to piss myself off.

Feel sorry for my Alan, he's on nights at moment so comes home at 6am when it's bloody freezing and most (please note i hastened to put most not all) of us are just getting up!!!!

I work in a garden from 8am til 5pm 5 days a week...bloody freezing!!! Beautiful place though..so not complaining TOO much :-)

Sounds fantastic we are heading to UK for christmas, white would be nice, and yes you will only understand that after 5 years of cold ham, plastic trees and sweaty people

I must admit I'm enjoying wrapping up in the cold at the moment, which sort of begs the question "Why move to Oz then?" (Cos I hate the drizzly stuff).
But I'm going to make the most of the last winter here in the UK. Hopefully we'll get tons of snow. Would be typical if we get a white Christmas just as we're leaving. Don't ever remember one before. -2C here tonight. Roaring fire and a bar of Dairy Milk. Aaah bliss!!!!

I really miss those cold days. The hot summer in Melbourne is rubbish. Could be worse though, it could be like Brisbane.
