Talking Mind your language

Hi iam thinking of applying for a visa for oz but even though i got a degree (psychology) and fluent in a number of languages (Spanish,German,French,Finnish Swedish oh and English) where would one start to look for a career in Australia? where they would need langauge skills. Any help or advise would be much appreciated.

Languages wise maybe look at tourist industry but I would say it is more likely to be Japanese or Chinese required as interpreters here, which is also a good one to have for industries. You could try teaching associations for languages as I know a few students study European languages as a distant education option, in Queensland it would be the School of Distance Education in Queensland but that one just covers French and German http://www.brisbanesde.qld.edu.au/

Maybe you would have more luck with your degree and could look at the various options using that here.

Hi
You might like to consider a career as an interpretor. It's on the skills shortage list along with other careers that woud do well with your psychology degree.
