Migration travel insurance
Hi. I'm moving to Australia in April and my current travel insurance policy wont cover me as I'm not returning (fair enough). Is it normal to take out specific journey insurance to cover my one way journey - baggage, flight issues etc? If so, any recommended insurers in the UK? Thanks
I presume my removal company will insure my shipped items as part of their quote.

There are a few companies out there who do good one way insurance. GoWalkabout and the Post Office are two but you'd have to ring them, you can't (or couldn't) sort it online.
Also most of the shipping companies use Letton Percival as their insurance brokers and then charge you for their cut as well. Go direct to LP and get the same insurance about a third cheaper.
