G'day, I'm a Californian living in Melbourne, Australia -- I applied for my
Prospective Spouse Visa (Fiance) back in February 1998 and it took all of 17 weeks
for it to be processed and granted me the visa. Got the visa in July 1998. Good luck
and if you have any queries, feel free to email me privately.

Regards, Dawn

Hi again, It was in 1998...although I had met my future husband through the internet,
we weren't aware of this newsgroup nor the DIMA website for when we needed
information on anything that came up. But we did the paperwork on our own. It was
pretty easy, though.
