Migrate 2002 - Medicals/Police checks

Hi,
Did anyone manage to find out about Medicals/police checks.
How long are they valid for.
Someone had previously entered that they had been increased to 2 years(Medicals).
Applied Oct 2001 and am swithereing whether just to send them off just now - to kind of hurry things up!!!
Didn't manage to get to Migrate 2002 myself. 4 kids and a husband and no babysitter.
