Default migrant info day

Hi has anyone attended the Migrant Information Day the Commonwealth Bank hold every month in London?
If so was it worth the trip or are they just interested in getting you to open an account?

well I'm going on tuesday so I'll let you know what it was like but I have a feeling it may be a bit of a customer recruiting day for the bank.

Right went to this today and if your thinking of it I wouldnt bother.
There was a guy from Quantas who's info was limited to say the least. A guy from Pickfords who was quite helpfull but basically just wanted to get his bloke round to give us a quote(fair enough)
And the guy from the Commonwealth Bank who was very informative, we could have opened an account there and then on the spot,we chose not too but probably will eventually as they are the only ozzie bank that has a branch in the UK.
Not bad i spose but nothing we couldnt have done over the phone.
More importantly we booked our flights and picked our visas up today from Ozzie House.
We fly out on 30th Dec to Penang for a week of luxury and new year celebrations before we head off to Perth to start our new lives down under.
No going back now,all that remains to do is decide what to do with our flat,TO RENT OR TO SELL THAT IS THE QUESTION?
