Midland Meet - 17th April
 

The other thread was getting a bit long and the info about the meet lost in the many pages, so here it is again:


Sunday 17th April 12.30pm (get school holidays out of the way)
White Horse pub, Balsall Common (about 5 miles from J4 of the M6)
They do good, cheap food (2 for the price of 1) and they have a Wacky Warehouse so we can lose the kids for an hour.

Hope those that came last time can make it again and all you newbies are more that welcome

ahh this sounds good - we wont have to spend a bloody fortune on petrol or over night accommodation or kennels for dog!! and we can bring kids!! bargain. so it is just a day thing then?

(South) Midlands Meet - 16th /17th April
 

Bump. As this missus said, the main thread about a Midlands meet has split into two so here is the Southern one on its own :rolleyes:

I think there are a few of us up for doing the Saturday night too. (There are loads of hotels in Balsall Common as it is near the NEC).

So lets have a roll call for who is coming. To start you off Iain, Sam and Maryann (Worzel and Thpinkpussycat) are up for both

Fancy decamping and coming to Wolverhampton?

7.30 - 8pm Sunday 3 April at Oddfellows, Compton. (About 20 mins from Telford the speed I drive).

Come off M54 at Wolverhampton Junction, follow signs for Wolverhampton through 2 major lights (2nd marked right as Perton) go straight ahead and take your first right (strange junction onto keepers lane). Follow that road for about 2+ miles until get to a junction with Mermaid pub on right. Turn left here and Oddfellows is after about a mile on the roundabout - there are 2 entrances to car park, one just before the pub and one just after opposite the freezer centre.

Hope to see any posters there.

Not sure whether to carry a boomerang to introduce ourselves - perhaps just ask at the bar for the expats group?

Hubby and I are free on that day...will try and persuade 14 yr old daugter to come along ( hates being seen out with the fogey's)...has anyone else who is coming got kids her age ?

we re definately coming,i was just wondering is anyone taking there teenagers,cos if thers any going kerry might come,but if theres not she ll be a bit bored :D
