Default Melbourne - watching sport over New Year

Hi guys.

We are over for 3 weeks (flying out on Christmas Day) and will be in Melbourne for 10 days from around the 5th January.

I was just wondering what type of sport we could try and get tickets too when we're they're????

Any reccommendations?

The main 2 sports running at that time will be cricket and the A-League (football). Check out the links below to see if they are playing during your stay.

Unfortunately I believe it does. Melbourne Storm are in the final. Just wondering if any RL is on anywhere thru the summer?

Melbournites don't care too much for Rugby Leage even when NRL season is on. During the off season I'd wager you've got no hope.
