Melbourne short-term accomodation
Hi all,
We (wife, 6 yrs old daughter and I) are travelling in March this year to Melbourne for activating our visas. We intend to stay for 3 weeks and looking for short-term accommodation somewhere close to CBD. Can anyone suggest any agencies that might be able to help? Many thanks! |

If you don't just want a hotel, the other sites that come up are Airbnb, Stayz and Homeaway that do holiday lets :)

No worries - I've used both Stayz and Homeaway - and other members have had great experiences with Airbnb so you should be good with any :)

No idea if it's in an area that appeals to you, but our resident Melbourne evangelist Buzzy-Bee has an apartment for short term rent. You could try contacting him....

Re: Melbourne short-term accomodation
I've made several enquiries via Air BnB and every time I find something in my budget, turns out there are no dates available! Very frustrating...

Hi Louie, thank you for recommending us. Unfortunately our apartment is only large enough for a couple, however BE poster "Furkew" has a larger place - his website is www.hillviewmonbulk.com
BB thanks for that BB, but don't forget we are about an hour from the CBD (but we are in the fantastic setting of the Dandenong ranges ) BTW its www.hillviewmonbulk.com.au :D how are you for end of this month for bookings. I have a single guy arriving from NZ looking for accommodation. |

BB Thanks for that (as always) hope you are enjoying your holiday. Back next week? just in time for a few of 35-40c days :D do you still take that jeep of yours out and get it muddy? need to organize something soon before the summer is gone. |

Back Saturday mate. The Jeep's next outing is beach driving in South Australia in March - it doesn't get muddy much in summer as summer weekends are reserved for boating!
BB are you heading out to Robe? if you are, check out this teraflex video taken with the DBOR boys. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YLr6NrW0QD4 I was invited to join them, but couldn't make it due to the wife's new shop reno's and opening. |
