Question Melbourne: Rental: Bonds and Traps

Hello Folks,
I have a question as the name of the subject line states. For more clarity I will explain what I am thinking.
Say, I am looking for a house on rent (I dont know right away how much I am going to stay on the premises) And say I have rented a house for 6 months. I stayed there for 2 weeks ( or say 6 weeks total) and I need to go to other city (only possiblity I see for the job). So I have to vacant the room. Assume no damange to the house has been done. Not even the the paints or the doors..
My questions and tickle of mind is below:
1. Can I give the notice earlier than that 6 months (as mentioned in the bond)?
2. What are the conditions of giving notice?
3. What are the traps and and how to move out of those traps.
4. Can they charge me additional fine on not staying 6 months.
5. What can they charge me if I move out of the house early then the bond says..
6. A Big QUESTION though: What are the rental lease condition?

Experience people please help me...

I think that if you break the lease then you have to keep paying the rent until it is leased again.
And I also have a feeling that you have to pay the agency for it to be readvertised.

I understand JayKay what you say...
But look at the attachment...about "RoomingComplete". Are they talking this.... its BIG NO.. they say just 2 days...notice is enough for leaving the house...!!!
How true this document is or How morally the rental landlords and agents take this document

I was just wondering about 2 days notice.. How effictive 2 days are? I mean do people take 2 days notice as a norm as per the Rooming Guide or the Contract can say something (I mean the owner can make it 1 month or 2 or 6 months) other than this Guide..?
