Melbourne - New Quay
We visited an Indian restuarant called Bhoj during our validation visit. The service was excellent & the food good. They do a chicken tikka masala but it's not one of those horrid red things
It was a bit more pricey than your average restuarant though.
The Quay is still very much under development (only a few streets listed in the Melway) - yuppy Quay side apartments & trendy resturants & bars - but it's worth a wander around if you are near the city.

Hmmm, "Indian" in England is of course nothing like "real" Indian. How does Aussie "Indian" compare? (Very like English I imagine, colonial influence and all that.)
