Default Is the Melbourne meet still happening ?

Been off line for 10 days whilst we moved and headed to Oz - finally arrived last Wednesday.

Is the Melbourne meet still on for September 10th ? If so, did we all agree on a venue ?!!

Cheers,
Col

Yes, Village Green at midday, some people are going straight to Cardinia Dam at 2.30pm so you can come to either or both.

Hi

Welcome to Melbourne.

There are two places to meet as not everyone wanted to eat at the Village Green, which is a buffet style all you can eat place, with kids play area and playstations. At Cardinia Dam there are bbq areas, and you can bring your own food and drinks which is great if the weather is good, outdoor kids play area and loads of space, and kangaroos that come out in late afternoon.

We will be going to Village Green and maybe Cardinia after, depending on the weather.

Looking forward to meeting you.

Mel

Hi Bordy,

We actually arrive in Mount Eliza on the 10th September and will be trying to find our rented accomodation at midday, but may be able to make the Cardinia dam, local info and meet up could save us a lot of leg work in the first few days so we are quite keen to come if time is on our side. Could you give us directions to the meet from Mount Eliza, we'll have our rented car (hopefully) by then.

Hopefully see you or some of the other great BE'ers wo have been sooo much help over the past months.

Better get back to the packing we fly to Singapore on Thursday!!!

Thanks

Carole

Hi Carole, weather permitting we will probably be there until around 5 or 5.30pm ish.
It may be a bit much on your first day, Mt Eliza will be about an hour away, if you still fancy coming you need to get a Melways & Cardinia Dam is on page 127.
I'm not to sure if any of the Mt Eliza ones are coming up or not but hopefully they can give you more info on best way to go.
