Melbourne Internet Cafes With Webcams......any ideas
Evening all,
I will be getting to Melbourne at the end of July and until my stuff gets shipped over (furniture, PC etc) I will be hoping to webcam with friends and family from any internet cafes.
Does anybody know of any places in Melbourne that have webcams available as part of internet cafes that can be used???
Any info would be appreciated.

All the websites I've been on don't mention webcams and half of their links don't work!!! All have a contact facility so your best bet is to email some and ask.... sorry couldn't have been of more help.

This is the only info I have, :
http://www.internet-access.vic.gov.a.../results.cgi?2
This gives tel nos and websites so you could email them to find out about the webcams.
I used the local libraries internet facility free.

ianj,
If you happen to be wondering around in city centre, try the internet cafe on Elizabeth Street, just south of Colin Street, next door to Coles Express, and near Club X. It's only a couple of minutes from Flinders Street train station.
I am not sure if they have webcams, but they have printers/scanners/CD burners, etc - very popular with backpackers and international students living in the area. I won't be surprised if they have webcams as there must be some demand from their customers. They also sell all kinds of international calling cards.
Cheers,
Mrs JTL
