Default Melbourne House Prices

House prices are always topical so thought I would post the link to an article in today's Melbourne Herald Sun, which summarises current house prices and increases. The printed article gives the average price per suburb, together with what is was 12 months ago, and the %age increase. I'll take the full article along to tomorrow's Melbourne meet up for anyone who doesn't get to read the printed article.

Average house price is now $368k (to end of September - up from $359k for end of June 03).

What I thought was scary was that 145 Melbourne suburbs now have properties that have sold for over $1m - and only 4 suburbs have an average pice of less than $200k.
