Melbourne Hotels
Going for our epic vaildation trip in Nov/Dec this year.
Any recommendations for fairly central Melbourne Hotels would be appreciated.
I understand Flinders Street station is where most of the trams go from....
Thanks.

We stayed in Quest apartments in Fizroy, central to the city, we also stayed in Kew, very clean, spacious and helpful staff. We went last year Nov 03, we paid $190 per night for a two bed apartment, in both places. If you want anymore info` on that pm me, I don`t have the email address but I do have the postal address and phone number. We also hired a car. If I can help at all, I`d be pleased to.

I suppose around the GBP 100 mark (AUS$260 ish) I suppose.
I accept it costs a lot to stay central in big cities.
We only have 2 nights so I need somewhere close to the sights/transport.
Thanks

If your only staying two nights try www.wotif.com.au
You can get one of the more luxurious hotels for a fraction of the normal cost.

Hi,
We stayed The Victoria hotel, Little Collins St, in January. It's very central approx 3 mins walk to Flinders St station. Very cheap, booked with www.ratestogo.com They have some good deals if you book last minute we booked about 1 month before. We only booked 2 nights and the hotel gave us the internet rate again when we asked to stay longer. Some good reviews if you do a search.
Good Luck Marie
