Hi Guys and welcome to the forum - we have almost the same plans as you - probably moving to Mel in the Northern Hemisphere Autumn 2006 - depends on what redundancy date my work give me :rolleyes:

There is also a Brits in Victoria website but I'm not sure I'm allowed to advertise the URL on BE - PM me and I'll send you it. It's not as well frequented as here though.

What is your visa situation etc????

Hi,

We will be in Melbourne mid-January and will be in the same position as you. Would be interested in getting to know people also. We will be settling in Bundoora (north of Melb) and looking to get working pretty much immediately after finding a house to rent.
