More sensibly, and to get this back on track, as I'm sure if any poor bu**ers are still reading, they're bored...

In your superior knowledge, as obviously it's far superior to most, where would you suggest the average family lives with a budget of around $400-500K for a 4x2. That might be more helpful in the spirit of the forum :)

I all seriousness, Glen Waverley is a pretty good suburb. One of the lowest crime rates in Vic, good-ish schools, good transport links.

Bentleigh, McKinnon is pretty good. Might be a bit out of budget.

In Knox, Wantirna is probably the best but it is still Knox.
