Oh yes we went and nosed round there. Veeeerrrry nice indeed, and some of it veeeerrrry expensive too (surprise). Even worse, having moved in there we would want to buy a swish boat to go with having our own mooring. Maybe we could just live on the boat and rent the house out!

We noticed that some land had been acquired for a tennis club, it's near the national water sports club & don't forget the pony club....It would certainly keep you very busy living there.
How many people do you reckon could live in a Kayak?

Hi All,
Landed in the UK at approx 5.30am today so feeling a bit tired to say the least. We enjoyed meeting you.
Can't believe how much we crammed into our short visit. Quite glad to have a rest at home! A couple of days after the meet we took a look around Patterson Lakes which we loved so thinking of living there on our return.
Hope to be back in Melb in a couple of months.

As Markmywords says, we also liked Patterson Lakes (tho I will need to check out the CBD commute, as it looks like that's where I'll be working). Have found several nice areas in which to live - only problem will be deciding which one!
See you again in a couple of months, hopefully!
Cheers,
Anya.

Cheers,
Anya.

Problem is he was up at 5.30am this morn banging the toys in his cot, talking to himself full of the joys of spring! We were like this
Definately, looking forward to coming back to Melb but going to stop over for a few days on the way over to break up the journey. We feel so excited about what we saw during our visit. I've rung loads of estate agents to value our property as we've now decided to go the whole hog & sell up in order to buy a property we really like. As they say, 'In for a penny, In for a pound'.
Hope yourself & Mark are managing to holiday as well as research. At least being on the go keeps you warm. You could always participate in the water sports....
Make the most of your last 9 days.

Next one ???
Hi
Just arrived a couple of weeks ago with my wife and 2 boys aged 7 and 4. We're renting in Mount Eliza - anyone nearby fancy a coffee?? We don't know anyone here (yet)
PMs welcome...
Whens the next meet up ??? My wife needs to hear that she's not the only one missing her family and friends !! And of course make some new ones. Would be great to meet you all and compare stories.
I'll be starting work on Tues (should've been Monday but its a public holiday for the Queens Birthday !! Did you hear that in the UK??!)
Thanks
Dave
