Melbourne dentist urgently needed .... recommendations please
 

Hiya, been in Melbourne 7 weeks now and OH started his new job today, but has come home with horrendous toothache. We had a fantastic dentist in the UK, and my OH is a very nervous patient. Im now looking for a dentist here in OZ and would welcome and recommendations of good dentists...
We are living in Patterson Lakes at the mo and are prepared to travel to a good dentist.
second question..... how do you go about getting in with a dentist here, we have private medical insurance full cover, as we are not entited to medicare (on 457 visa). We dont mind paying, but just wandered what you have to do to become a patient?

I can personally recommend Tribeca Dental in East Melbourne. Dr. Seeto has been my dentist for the past 6yrs now and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him, he is very friendly and professional. I used to have a few nerves about going to see my old dentist, but not now! His new surgery is in the old Victoria Brewery building.
