Melbourne CBD Drinks Friday 8th Feb- Any takers???
Hi, im new to melbourne after spending 4 months by the beach in Port Stephens.
Originally from Manchester, U.K.
Is anyone up for a beer after work in the CBD melbourne.
Im hoping to get an after work drinkers club going like swerv-o in Sydney.
Any initial takers and then ill organise a venue and date, time etc.
Lads girls or couples, i dont care as long as you like a laugh.

Well lets see how many more are up for it and then we will go from there.
There is a curry night on 2nd feb if you fancy it
just look for it in "meet ups" and confirm if you fancy it. If its not your cup of tea and just pure beer is then lets get the ball rolling......

Hi mate welcome to the MDC (melbourne drinkers club)
The Charles dickens is pretty central, its a little boozer that you can see from one end to the other.
Its a good starting point as its central and then once a few more members evolve we can maybe decide on a new headquarters but as a pub i like it as its a british looking boozer that shows football til thew early hours last man standing.
Im sure there are far better pubs in the CBHD but its the only one i know so far and the only one i can direct people to.
When you go downstairs in to the pub and go through the doors the bar is in front of you. If you get a beeer and go to the right of the bar i should be there with a beany hat on. Ill keep cool with beer.
Later on ill pm my mobile number and then anyone lost or in the pub and cant see us can phone, or you can ring 5 mins before and ill tell you where we are sat.
Any more takers, thats 3 and counting.
FRIDAY 8TH FEB, CHARLES DICKENS TAVERN< COLLINS STREET CBD,between elizabeth and swanston in a little arcade on the same isde as australia on collins.
