Melbourne in August
 

Dear All,

I am Rahul from India, moving to Melbourne in August. I am looking for network of friends there. I need guidance for following.

1. Is there any post landing service available for new migrants?
2. Any temporary accomodation for single?
3. What we can bring from home country?
4. On arrival, whom to conatct on airport?

These may be silly question for many members. As I have no idea about these, please put some light on it.

Friends, who are moving during the same period and looking for a company, are welcome.

I am Sanjay from Delhi, living in Western Suburbs of Melbourne. I arrived here in last week of July2009, what about you? Where have you taken the residence?

How are you?

I had to change my plan after posting this thread. I moved to Albury in August 2009. I got a job in September 2009 and planning to settle here as life in Regional Australia is better than metro cities.

How about you? Hows life and work going on? Are you here with family?
