Folks,
For all those in Melbourne already or have knowledge of the area....HELP!!!!!!!!!! :scared:
Can anyone recommend some accomodation in or around the Melbourne area that we can use for the first 7 - 14 days we get there, whilst we look for something in the rental market.... Hotel / Studio/ ANYTHING.
We need it for 2 adults and 3 children.
Cheers

Hi
We've booked into a caravan park on the Frankston/Dandenong road. Well cheap. Wev'e got a cabin, the place has play/barbecue areas etc. Maybe a bit like Butlins, without the 'clubhouse'! website www.twinbridgetouristpark.com.au. There are other site all over Vic. I think its about 25k from city though. But worth it due to the price.

I can recommend the following:
Quest Apartments: http://www.questapartments.com.au
The Kew apartments are excellent.
Apartments of Melbourne - the South Yarra properties are 3 star but are much nicer than Punt Hill in South Yarra) http://www.aom.com.au
Relocation Consultants get very good rates from accommodation providers (better than you will see online).
If you can wait until the last minute for some excellent deals, try
http://www.wotif.com.au
or
http://www.lastminute.com.au
or search on Citysearch site

Hope you find something you like
