meetup in the north west
Has anyone had a meet up in the northwest of england. Like blackpool.We live in morecambe and would like to meet people who are going to oz.
We are going to brisbane on the 8th of august.
We could not make down south.
If anyone can help that would be great.

No, I dont think so, I asked about this a while ago. Seems like the NW is slightly less populated with potential migrants!
If you do it before the 26th July though I'd be interested!!

Guess what - we're from Morecambe too, well Overton but near enough. Can't believe it. We haven't actually made any major decisions yet, only just started to think about it actually with some friends of ours from North Wales (Wrexham). If we decided to definately go it would be to Brisbane. Still trying to weigh up the pro's and con's, not many con's so far though. Where abouts in Brisbane are you going? Any advice ?

we are just about in the North West, being on the Staffs/Cheshire/Derbyshire border and would definitely be interested in some sort of meet up.
Maybe our part of the country is just so good, no-one wants to leave...........?
